GAManiac (344), Atlanta, Georgia, USA May 8, 2008 Pours a bright hazy golden with hints of orange. Head is minimal but has a nice bubbly center that keeps the foam going throughout and leaves a really nice lacing. Big up front hoppy citrus smell of oranges and grapefruit. Slight malty sweetness in the background along with some resiny pine, but it’s mostly citrus hops in the nose. Taste follows the smell with big orange, grapefruit and lemon flavors with some grassy hints as well. I’m not getting as much sweetness in the taste as in the smell. Medium bodied with good carbonation leaves a little hoppy stickiness in the mouth. A decent American IPA. Very clean and crisp and especially nice on a hot afternoon.
zappafan99 (332), Rock Hill, South Carolina, USA Oct 6, 2008 taste 10/8 Bottle (Best by 3/09) Looks: Copper with a clingy head. Aroma:Caramel malt, pine/ hops. Taste: Oily, pine/ soapy hops. Nice. gsmitty80 (534), Washington DC, USA Oct 3, 2008 This is an excellent example of an IPA. Bold and strong aroma of hops overwhelms the drinker. Great pour with a nice head and lasting lacing. Tastes as to be expected with heavy hopping and a bitey finish. Great offering and packaging. branspra (47), Arlington, Virginia, USA Sep 28, 2008 Bottle. Average size head and white in color. Pours a yellow color with hints of straw and citrus. Slick texture and short flavor with a heavy bitter aftertaste. Actually not much in the way of hops for an IPA, and did not like that bitter ending. cwalsh156 (6), Exeter, New Hampshire, USA does not count Sep 26, 2008 A very good beer I deal with very few IPA’s but one of the better ones. AskForJenny (447), Ontario, New York, USA Sep 25, 2008 12oz - Good, solid IPA, Nice lacing and head, really indistinguishable however.
