fredandboboflo (277), East Setauket, New York, USA Apr 24, 2008 Bottle. Nice IPA aroma of citrus hops, bitter hops, light pine hops. Flavor starts off in the citrus vain, gets more and more bitter as the glass empties. I actually was really impressed with the refreshing mouthfeel of this one. Those bitter hops that dominate the beer seem to create a lovely, dry finish that had me taking a couple swallows at once toward the end (oops, blasphemy, my bad). Overall standard, but a very good standard, with just that little extra boost in crispness.
doubleo (652), San Diego, California, USA Jul 12, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours hazy orange/amber with a moderate sized creamy white head, spider web lace. Smells nice and mellow earthy hoppy with a hint of citrus. Tastes citrusy earthy hoppy with a bit of sweet malt towards the finish. Hops are nice, sweet at first with a lingering grassy bitterness. Very nice. Medium body, good carbonation. abcfan (132), USA Jul 10, 2008 Nice brew. Pours orange yellow with a nice white head. Aroma is citrus and pine hops. Taste is creamy caramel with a bitter dry hoppy finish. Would drink again. chicagodri (419), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jul 8, 2008 Pours a nice cloudy orange with a white head. Nice citrus and some pine hops. Nice malt balance, solid IPA. First beer I have had from them, I am impressed. dmtroyer (304), Harrisonburg, Virginia, USA Jul 5, 2008 12oz. Clowdy orange with a moderate white head. Loads of bitter fruit on the nose with some sweet malt thrown in for good measure. Body follows closely in profile with a bit of caramel, and a fairly dry hops finish. Medium body, a bit soft for my taste... I should probably come back to this one under different circumstances. Biddle_Brau (86), Midland Park, New Jersey, USA Jul 2, 2008 Pours golden with decent white head. Nice citrus, grassy hop aroma. Creamy palate. Dry, grassy hop flavor is pretty well balanced with mild malt sweetness. On tap at The Shep’.
