May 19, 2007 Clear amber/orange with a large head. Good lacing and good retention. Aroma of floral and spicy hops with some caramel and paler malts and nuts. Medium body. Balanced bitter and sweet taste. Very nice.

May 19, 2007 Nice unfiltered/bottle conditioned lager. The beer is hazy and very malty, but not overly sweet. The hops are there just enough to balance out the malt. Well done and clean tasting.

May 19, 2007 Bottle courtsey of bmartin08 and The_Epeeist, thanks guys. Pours a coppery color with a decent sized off-white to beige colored head. Aroma is sweet caramel malts, honey, pear, citrus. Flavor is caramel malts, sweet pear and peach, brown sugar, some citrus notes. Palate is medium bodied, medium carbonation, on the sweet side with a crisp, spicy, sorta saison like finish. Great!

May 17, 2007 Bottle (22oz). Shared with blankboy, biegaman and tupalev, my bottle. Hazy light amber, decent off-white head. Slightly vegetal and sweet malt aroma, light fruity floral hops. Taste - alcohol, cereal grain, sweet lightly fruity malt - nice. Average body, quick finish, passable carbonation. It’s okay, a little warming, ehhhh.

May 15, 2007 Bomber. Bronze with a big tan head. Nice lace. Nose is lots of sweet, caramelly malt with a bit of fruit and light, earthy hops. Well carbonated. Not quite as sweet as many maibocks, which is good IMO, sweet honey and caramel malt, just a touch sticky, but the stickiness does not detract. Smooth, lightly sweet finish, just a bit of earthy hop bite. Nice stuff.

May 13, 2007 22 oz bottle 2007 .. deep golden pour thin white head ,good lacing. sweet aroma of lemon , lavender and bananas . sweet , bready caramel malt flavors . slight spicy hop up front that turns sweet and doughy . very refreshing , smooth , medium bodied mouthfeel. sorta like a super saison . good stuff .

May 9, 2007 Very thin white head which fades rapidly. Clear orange/golden body with a very slight haziness. Sweet malty, sugary, caramel aroma with a bit of floral character. Flavors were very malty and sweet with brown sugar, caramel, and some spiciness. A very slight hint of hops. Palate was slightly sticky and sweet, but well-carbonated and with a very abrupt finish. Very good stuff.

May 6, 2007 Practically clear with a rich orange-gold hue. Thin head. Aromas of lavender, lemon, perfume with a bit of caramel and toast beneath all the fragrant smells. A little bitterness up front changes to a buttery middle and long butterscotch/caramel finish. Again, fragrant hops and well-integrated caramel and sweet malts. Really good stuff.
