Funknmilla (542), Absecon, New Jersey, USA Nov 19, 2008 Bomber...received from a trade with Oteyj.....orange amber with a beige head......smells like a nut bread...yeast and bread notes followed by pecans and almonds along with some sweet malts...medium sweet body, with a sour bitter mixed finish....aroma is not as prevalent in the flavor...its more sweet malt and spices (cinnamon and nutmeg)...pretty good...mild bitter and dry finish---orange rind taste tinged throughout Radek Kliber (3395), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Nov 19, 2008 Bottle 650 ml.
Appearance: clear amber lager with large, frisky, creamy-white top.3+
Aroma: sweet, fruity, berry like with slight peppery hop side.
Flavour/Palate: full bodied, slightly oily in texture. You will be welcomed by alcohol warmth right from first sip. Thick, malty body supports well its formula. Malt it self is candy sweet but with out crossing cloying point. Good bock.
WeeHeavySD (1999), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA Nov 16, 2008 Bomber from Phhd. Thanks Ethan. Shared first beer of election night. Pours light orange with a bright white head. Nose is sweet and malty. Taste is sweet malty and biscuitty. Taste and drinkable. BelgianBeerGal (1021), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Sep 29, 2008 Draught sample at the Portsmouth restaurant. Not really my area of expertise or even experience. Aroma and flavour seemed buttery and I swear I tasted watermelon in the finish. Not my typical style so not much to say other than it was easy drinking. SuzyGreenberg (1067), Seattle, Washington, USA Sep 16, 2008 22 oz. bottle - pours dark orange and clear; white head lingers; mild carbonation; musky aromas of caramel, orange peels, dank fruit; drinks dry with fruity finish; pretty tasty
