3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Clear brown and fleeting head. The aroma is at first simple sweet malt, then some hay and a little pine. The flavor is similar with a bit of roast and a little more spice and earth. Palate is of slick and not very lively. Just OK. Easy and not offensive.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Translucent brown and quite effervescent and heady for this style of beer. Nice caramel and malty flavors. Pretty tasty if unspectacular beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Rusty brown pour with a tan head. Faint dry cereal aroma. Slight bitterness is balanced quite well by the sweet malty finish. Average carbonation with a sticky texture. Nothing to make this a notable beer but its goes down quite smoothly.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from a bottle. Moderate head that dissipates quickly. Nice dark amber color. Sweet aroma of bread and fruits. Strong, sweet, malty flavor with hints of vanilla. just enough of a hop backbone and tartness. Overall a very tasty brown ale.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Smelled sweet, very rich malty brown, long aftertaste that continues to develop for a minute or so after the beer has gone down. Has that signature smuttynose taste. Well done.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
355ml bottle at home. Pours clear brown with little to no head, doesn’t last. Aromas of light chocolate, fruity hops, dark sugar. Taste is more hop-bitter than an English brown ale, but nice, and with a rounded sweet finish. Texture a little thin, but nice bitter finish.
