urnamesucks (32), New York City, New York, USA Aug 20, 2008 Rich and brown in color. I tasted the caramel flavor with hints of other subtle flavors. ElGaucho56 (369), USA Aug 16, 2008 Pours more of a lighter beige than a true brown ale, with a small white cap. Not too much in the nose, some typical earthy british aroma hops, some biscuity malt. More of the same on the palate with a slightly thin body, finishing vaguely chocolatey. Not my cup of tea. Underhook (91), Lincoln Park, New Jersey, USA Aug 16, 2008 Nice brown ale here. Pours with a ginger aroma and a rich brown appearance. Tastes a bit ginger, roasted caramel, toffee. Baumgartner (54), Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA Aug 13, 2008 Bottle poured to glass.
