Draught, sample @ brewpub. Clear golden hue. Manages to be admirably boring in most ways and clean. Has a crisp hop finish and is quaffable, decent, and the epitome of average.

Draft in manchester, nh. Decent beer with good feel and texture, slightly hoppy but lacking in ending flavor.

Ughsmash (7008) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 4, 2008
Bottled, BB 04/08. Poured clear, orangey-golden with a short, sticky cap of white head. The aroma picked up soft bready notes and caramel primarily with some wet grainy and and grassy accents. The flavor had a mostly bready base with a little toffee and honey sweetness down there.. light grassy and grainy bitterness on the sides with a hint of cardboard.. finished with dry, grainy caramel and honey sweetness. Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation.. dry overall and spicier on the back.. not bad, but very average in all facets of the drink.

bottle. really nice lager.... pours a deep golden with little head. a bit of bread in the aroma... nice full body for a lager. very even over the palate, with the hops coming forward from the back of the palate through the finish. wonderfully balanced between hops and malts.... very clean and crisp. definitely one of the best lagers I’ve had to date....

JohnQPublic (387) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - JUL 22, 2008
UPDATED: JUL 23, 2008 Draught. Pours dark gold, medium white head with good lacing. Aroma is toasty, maybe a bit of breadcrust in the nose. Taste is toasty, slightly biscuity malt, with a slightly floral hoppy note and a lingering, very delicate, clean bitterness on the finish. Body is light but not watery, with moderate carbonation. Great, very drinkable lager.

On tap at the brewpub during the KtG release: Like the rest of the beers in the lineup that day this was a really well-make and balanced beer.

not a bad one, does have a nice texture, has a bit of a sweet hop flavor initially that turns a bit dry in the aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours a darker golden color. One of the better lagers Ive had. Decent malt flavor. Clean crisp & easy drinking. Not bad

Bottle. Noble hop nose, golden body, small white head. Not terribly malty, fairly clean for a US lager. Nothing very special here.
