Tap at EBF. A little bit of raspberry in the nose, licorice, beets, hibiscus. Nice pink-orange pour, puffy head. Fizzy, soda-like carbonation, citric acid sourness, light body, lots of fresh berries, very mild.

Draft @ EBF. Black pour with some tan head. Body of this beer is lacking, perhaps a side effect of the maple syrup, porter is predominantly maple and some warming along with dark malts.

EBF 2010. POurs a big dark brownish almost black body and a foamy mostly lasting head. Aroma is big rich chocolate, but a bit harsh and acrid, nutty, burnt notes, grass and earthy. Flavor is a bit sweet, maple syrup- earth, a bit meaty, wood, chocolate, nuts, burnt hints and a rich dark chocolate finish with a bit of a thinned out finish from the maple. Ok.

EBF. Pours a black body with yellow off white head. Dark and roast y up front, with some chocolate malty tones. Maple and starch y potato esk tones that add to the fullness of the body. Malty with a roast y dry chocolate finish. Very nice.

EBF 2010 Session One: Deep brown pour with a khaki film that retains well. Starchy rich aroma with a mocha presence and a toasted and dry maple presence that’s slightly woody. Creamy body with a richly toasted flavor. Mild roast with notes of wood, dark crystal malts that remain dry and toasted cocoa residuals into the long finish. Rich yet dry- nice!

Pouring at session one of EBF in Boston. Pours a murky black with a medium sized tanned beige head. Oddly, a bit of baked potato on the aroma, but I could have been seeking it out. Chocolate, sweet. Roast, and a touch more sweetness. Tasty.

Brown pour with a light beige head. Aroma is chocolatey, a bit of dark plum, from the base beer, which shines along with some nice maple, no real potato in the nose. Mouthfeel is creamy and smooth, fantastic, Flavor is chocolatey, nice maple sweetness, some plum, date, actually some potato flavor in the mouth which just adds to the richness of this Really nice smutty. Cool shit
