Apr 21, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy pumpkin pie color with a thin white head. Aroma was a lot of nutmeg, a bit of brown sugar. Smellls just like pumpkin pie. Taste was nutmeg and allspice. Palate was obtrusive and not enjoyable.

Apr 7, 2008 Updated: Sep 26, 2008Very interesting beer. It looks, smells and tastes just like you might think and what Smuttynose probably intended. Orange colored with a relatively thick off-white head and nice amount of lacing. Ditto on the aroma, very spicy and like pumpkin pie with hops mixed in. The taste is much of the same. Spicy, cinnamon and much like a fresh pumpkin pie. While I can’t really see myself drinking too many of these, I did enjoy the one I had.

Apr 4, 2008 Bottle thanks to bu11zeye . Light copper color with small off-white head. Pumpkin puree and cinnamon nose. Flavor has a touch of pumpkin, but more cinnamon, ginger and even some clove. A little thin on the body, yet still a nice spiced ale.

Mar 22, 2008 Pretty good, smells like pumpkin pie with a real cinnamon hint that is really good. Taste is maltier than I was expecting from the smell but it also had a good pumpkin pie taste also.

Mar 22, 2008 Bottle. Pours light orange with small one finger head. Smell is pumpkin spice, cinnamon, nutmeg and a nice sweet bread quality. Taste is same. Mouthfeel is watery and little dry in the finish. Decent beer.

Mar 22, 2008 Opaque, light amber pour with large pillowy head and excellent lacing. Nose of cloves, ginger, and hops. Flavor was predominantly spice with a slight malt presence, notable hop presence, and bone dry finish. Not my favorite style, but tastey for what it is.

Feb 23, 2008 Opaque, amber appearance with an average size, off white head and nice lacing. Spicy aroma with ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon up front. Gingerbread tase, on the sweet side; spicy aftertaste. Medium bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel with a short lived finish.
