Small head.Aroma is wonderful...full of cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, pumpkin spice with some slightly citrusy hopping going on in the background. Love it. Flavour is a little less, and the body is a little thin, but it is a very drinkable beer. Fairly sweet taste, followed by cinnamon, nutmeg and clove spicing moving toward a lightly bitter finish where some of those hops come forward. Overall, this brew is pretty intense with spices, but I like it. Too bad I spilled half the bottle on myself. doublebock (196), USA

Smell of Pumpkin, Nutmeg, maybe clove. One of the more bitter Pumpkin Ales I’ve had. Pumkin Ales are hit and miss. Not a bad example but not the best. yobdoog (1431), Woodridge NY, New York, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 16, 2007 Cloudy brown/orange, thin light tan head. Nose is pumpkin pie spice - primarily nutmeg & clove. Also some other undefined spices and a slight sour twang. Flavor is strong spice - mostly nutmeg, some dry cinnoman, a hint of lemon, some malt. Spice dominated finish with too much nutmeg. Overall just way too much spice. gotohelunc (473), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 14, 2007 Bottle. Light copper color. Minimal head. Nice spicy aroma of pumpkins and spices. Quite refreshing, light, and drinkable. Doesn’t wow me with flavor, but shows the pumpkin novelty beer can be a very palatable, crisp tasting style. I’d buy this again for sure.
