daknole (2810), Plantation, Florida, USA Sep 8, 2009 Hmmm this sucked. Aroma is perfume, pumpkin pie spice and some light caramel. Flavor is too hoppy and doesnt meld well with the pumpkin or spices. Odd pefumey flavor too. Not good. durhambeer (1188), Durham, USA Sep 6, 2009 Bottle from Sam’s. First of the season... which is the only reason I can think that I might have bought it, because pumpkin beers suck. This one tastes like pretty much every other decent one, which means I don’t like it very much. Sweet malt, pumpkin, and spices (cinnamon, clove, nutmeg). Hazy orange with smallish white head. Average. Rustyham (552), miami, Florida, USA Aug 29, 2009 Really light and fizzy, with a hint of pumpkin. Not so much on the cinnamon and nutmeg aspects, nice and smooth. Very fizzy, tho. Bottle at Stop and Shop, South Miami. ucfknightscott (46), Casselberry, Florida, USA Aug 27, 2009 Pours a bright orange with a thin white head. Aroma is full of spices (cinnamon, clove, nutmeg) and slight hops. Medium bodied with a mouthful of spices, with a noticeable hoppy backbone. This is a decent pumpkin ale, kind of middle of the road. A little light for my taste, I prefer a bigger alcohol presence in my autumn beers. Not bad. Pwn3d (1040), Manhattan, New York, USA Aug 23, 2009 Pint at RnH. Orangish color. Odd aroma of stale perfume, spice, vegetables and ginger. Taste is cinnamon, perfume and florals over top a toasty amber ale. PorterPounder (3133), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Aug 20, 2009 Tallahassee, Fl. - Market Square Liquors - 12 oz bottle. Murky dark orange pour, thinnish white head. Spicy sweet aroma with cinnamon and nutmeg. Pretty full-bodied flavor with the same spiciness. Some ripening vegetables come through in the finish. Mouthfeel is a tad on the tart side for my liking. Aurelius (2643), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Aug 19, 2009 Orangey, oak stain color, bad label, good cap. Perfumed, floral, spice aroma. First swig was like a shot of perfume, but then once you get used to it, it’s dry and floral, with a lot of woodsy amber ale flavor. Moderate nutmeg bitterness, which dominates the finish. Thin body. Market Square Liquors. jjuf1853 (467), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA Aug 18, 2009 Draft at Brass Tap (Wesley Chapel, FL). Pours a copper orange color with a foamy beige head. The aroma of pumpkin and spices is quite noticeable, however it doesn’t translate into the flavor. Sadly, the taste is pretty subdued. Dry finish. There are much better pumpkin ales out there.
