COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Rhye IPA bulls its way into our lineup because we love really hoppy beers and were looking for an opportunity to play with rye malt and add a boatload of hops. Would rhino enjoy the big flavor? We don’t know, but let us know if you find out.

Bottle from Heinens. Hazy pale copper with lasting dense head and full lace. Herbal piney bready caramel aroma. Mild caramel and fruity sweetness with strong herbal bitter dry finish. Medium light body, nice for style and abv. Excellent.

Very cloudy golden orange. Tastes very crisp and a little medicinal. Plenty of bitter grapefruit flavor. Interesting, but not sure I’d get it again.

glennmastrange (2206) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - APR 28, 2014
Bottle. Moderate grain and caramel for the malt, moderate pine for the hops, light soap for the yeast, with light dried fruit in the background. Head is large, rocky, white with good lacing and is fully lacing. Color is murky dark amber. Flavor starts lightly to moderately sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly sweet and bitter. Palate is on the fuller side of medium, oily with a soft to lively carbonation. A nice yet milder than most top notch IPAs

0.66 l bottle, thanks Petteri! Hazy yellow brown color. Sweet perfumed aroma with catty hops and bready malt. Exotic hoppy and bready taste with herbal mint, tangerine and catty lemon. Full body. Surprising flavor combinations in a good sense.

Bomber purchased at Holiday Wine Cellar ($6.99). Pours a darker amber hue with two full fingers of white foam. AROMA bready (rye) malts, spicy hops, sourish and musty grains, and light citrus. FLAVOR has a nice spicy rye punch right off the bat, followed by notes of herbal hops, sharp citrus, and some caramel malts. Finishes somewhat dry with continued rye spiciness and moderate bitterness. I like that this has really big and noticeable rye, unlike some other RyePA’s out there. Very quaffable. (167, 857)

Associated Supermarket, Bushwick bomber ($4): Pours light reddish with an off-white head. Aroma is citrus, rye, and grass. Taste is aggressively hoppy all throughout. Rye malt backbone gives this an interesting kick throughout. Very easy to drink, but very flavorful. My girlfriend and I destroyed two bombers in less than 30 minutes.
