COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Rhye IPA bulls its way into our lineup because we love really hoppy beers and were looking for an opportunity to play with rye malt and add a boatload of hops. Would rhino enjoy the big flavor? We don’t know, but let us know if you find out.

Medium, very fine & dense white head, bit irregular, over faintly veiled orange beer, well-carbonated. Obviously fruity, if restrained. Whiff of ureum; resin, caramel, banana. Bitter, again very resiny, turpentine or regular solvent. Less fruity than the nose. Hint of rice (rather than rye?), with references to basmati. Wholemeal bread, and dried (exotic) fruit. Quite slick, medium bodied, bit oily even nearly chewy. Nothing sparkling, nothing extravagant, but in the end a very pleasing ale.
