Our Rhye IPA bulls its way into our lineup because we love really hoppy beers and were looking for an opportunity to play with rye malt and add a boatload of hops. Would rhino enjoy the big flavor? We don’t know, but let us know if you find out.

Tåkete brunorange i fargen med tynt hvitt skum. Appelsinskall, grape korn og humlelukt. Stram bitter humle og grape i smaken. Bitterheten sitter godt igjen.

Uklar orange farge med hvitt skum. Lukter humle og appelsinskall. Ikke riktig så mye smak som aroma. Medium fylde med fin humlebitter ettersmak.

Bottle @ tasting, courtesy of Benzai. Pours a clear golden beer with a big lacey white head on top. Aroma is rather old, which is a possibility since it’s an import beer. Enfin, dusty aroma, vague hops in the background and a big, fruity yeasty presence alongside some sweet, caramel malts in the aroma. Flavor is nice and bitter, so the bittering hops are still present here. The malts have faded in the background and the yeast has completely disappeared. Nice comeback here, but won’t take the best score ever. Quite ok!

Bottle shared with Deanso, MrHangover and kermis. Hazy orange color, medium sized white head. Don’t get a lot aroma other than malts and some hops. Taste malts, hops, bitter. Really nice! Medium to full body and carbonation.

Bottle at Yespr’s. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is fresh, grassy, floral, light spice and some citrus peel. The taste is crisp, bitter, spice, hay, straw, earthiness, sherbet, grass, pepper and a touch of alcohol with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Crisp, rounded and very drinkable stuff.

Bomber bottle: Pours a deep golden hue with a big fluffly head and excellent lacing. The aroma has notes of citric and tropical hop esters, slight pine, light rye and biscuit along with a dash of caramel and pepper. The taste is moderately aggressive with the bitterness with a slight metallic and band-aid undertone slightly balanced by grainy malts. The rye is found towards the finish and is kinda harshing my mellow. This was some nice notes but overall seems to clash, the mouth feel and finish needed to be cleaner and/or the hop profile even more fruity..

650ml bottle from Bierkompass

Pours dark orange with a thick white head. Aroma of caramely malts, sweet notes, hops, floral notes and grass. Taste is smooth, malty and sweetish with notes of rye, caramel, floral notes, fruits and grass. Finish is smooth, bitter and malty with notes of rye, caramel and hops. Okay, quite smooth and heavy IPA.
