COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Rhye IPA bulls its way into our lineup because we love really hoppy beers and were looking for an opportunity to play with rye malt and add a boatload of hops. Would rhino enjoy the big flavor? We don’t know, but let us know if you find out.

Bottle at home- pours hazy pale orange, large off white foamy head. Nose is appetizing, pithy, earthy hops, rye and caramel malts. More of the same flavor profile with a little chewy notes but nice bittering hop bite on finish. Well put together rye ipa ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Dark golden with white head, Aroma is slightly grassy, caramel, rhye spice. Taste of resinous pine, caramel. Decent body with a bitter finish. Guessing this wasn’t very fresh

(bottle - 22 oz) Orange pour with an off-white head. Rye dryness and bitter hops in the aroma. Bitter and dry rye and hop in the flavor. Not much beyond bitter and dry.

Bottle @ World Cup Tasting. England - Uruguay. Bottled 2013. Cheers to Hallinghansen. Pours hazy dark golden with a creamy white head. Grapefruit, caramel, bread and peach. Malty - but quite tasty. Full bodied.

caesar (4946) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - JUN 19, 2014
Bottled from Biernavigatie, 2013 version so at least 6 months old, large sample, served in a shaker. Pours a hazy golden to orange color with a big frothy off-white head, leaving some lacing. Aroma of grapefruit and a bit onion and garlic from both amarillo and simcoe, a bit soft though, slight grainy rye. It’s easy to recognize the ingredients actually, which is quite a good thing. All nicely balanced, although hoparoma would probably be more intense with a fresher example. Medium bitterness, slight caramelly sweetness, some grainy rye again. Medium carbonation, medium bodied from the rye. Nothing spectacular at the moment, but well balanced and decent craftsmanship. Nice.

Nice rye spice notes in the aroma, blends well with the hops. The flavor also has that characteristic spicy note from the rye, and a great assertive hop character.

07.06.2014, 0,65l bottle @ home:
Nice creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet grassy, leafs, lawn, light malts, hops, pine needles, citrus peel, dried fruits, caramel. Taste is slightly dry piny, loads of pine needles, bark, lawn, leafs, hops, sap, citrus peel, light malts, hints of dried fruits and caramel. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Nice.

650ml bottle, 7 % abv, served in a tulip shaped glass at Bishops Arms in Luleå. Clear amber coloured body, hazy last pour. Steady, bubbly off-white head. Mixed aroma of bread and citrus. Fresh fruit hoppy flavours with rye malt beneath. Mid-dry bitterness of citrus peels towards the ending. Fine bodied. Smooth on the swallow. Lovely IPA creation (kindly shared by djoeye, 25.05.2014).

Brown 0.65L bottle ABV 7%; vanilla-fawn dense head, rimmy lacings, clear amber body at first pour, later pours cloudy. Fruity aroma, mild citric hops, apple-malts, fruity rhye malts I mean, and strawberries. Fruity bitter malts in taste, citrus, apple peel, fresh fully taste with some rhye bread. Nice body in good balance. Fine lingering finish with dark bread and some fruity bitterness. This is well brewed, and reminds me that my favourite breads always contain rhye, which makes them fruity and good. (shared w Rune @The Bishops Arms (Luleå) Su25May2014)
