355 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a very dark brown with reddish hints and moderate-sized light tan head. Aroma is roasty with cocoa, coffee and some sweetish toffee. Flavour has a pleasant roastiness with good helping of cocoa and some coffee, some earthy hops and hints of sweet toffee. Slick mouthfeel. Quite good.

Pours black with a creamy, tan head that stays long. Nose is roasted malt and grain. Bit of a barnyard hint there. Taste is on the bitter side. Full body. Lively carbonation. Decent porter, although not a favorite for the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Delicious porter. Aroma was alright. Notes of roasted coffee but not very full. Pour was a nice deep dark brown with a tan ring for a head. Taste was nice especially for the low ABV. Roasted coffee beans with a mild dark chocolate finish. Light hoppiness and a nice malty finish. Tastes like an 8% beer. Nicely done.

12 oz. bottle. It pours a dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma has dark chocolate and bread with some plum, raisin, mild coffee and licorice. The flavor is substantial with rich bread, roasted malt, earthy hops, some dark chocolate and a nice smoky, roasted finish. Medium bodied and a decent amount of dark malt acidity gives it a nice bite. Very enjoyable.
