Dark, thick, as a Porter should be. More on the Stout side than Porter. Go for it! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Black pour, creamy toffee head. Nose is coffee, hint cream. Bittersweet. Middle is dark patent malt, molasses, and coco. Finish dries to a flavorful bitterness. Yum.

12 oz. bottle served in a tumbler- poured a non transparent black when held to a light source (not quite midnight black during a severe thunderstorm, but a solid non changed motor oil after 7500 miles), somewhat lively medium carbonation, thin wisps of a tan head that just coated the liquid surface and sat very still in the vessel, some lacing upon the vessel. Aroma of coffee, baker’s chocolate, and a roasted malt. Hits the mouth with a very wide body, malt tastes like it put into the roaster by the new guy and forgotten about until the end of the shift- which works in this case, some smoke in the middle, finish coats the palate and lasts, just a touch of oil on the backend. Why did I wait so long to try this? And why did I only buy one?!?!

Color negro con reflejos rubí y espuma beige duradera. Aromas intensos de chocolate, café, toffe y malta. Cuerpo medio, débil duklzor inicial pronto sobre pasado por el final de amargor medio, tostado y achocolatado.

Interesting bottle. A good porter. Nice a smooth, sweet, chocolate, malts, caramel. Not too roasted. Rich but I didn’t detect too much coffee.

From a bottle with dessert at Rezaz, Biltmore Village. Delicious. One of the best porters out there. Cold glass it was poured into was unfortunate, but beer shone above that. Dark, opaque pour with tan head. Decent lacing. Dark beer deliciousness all present and accounted for- coffee, chocolate, roasted malt, nuttiness, earthy and a hint of smoke. Robust is accurate- nice smooth, full mouthfeel and weight. Great balance- hops at the end keep the sweetness in check. Brewing like they mean it up in NH. Delicious.

33cl bottle from Grand Cru, Rimini. It pours a dark brown color with a thin tan head. Aroma is nice roasted malt and espresso, light caramel. Taste is medium sweet and medium roasty and bitter, with notes of roasted malts, dark chocolate, espresso, earth. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, very nice

Deep brown, almost black, body with dark tan head. Caramel nose with a metallic copper aspect and pleasant roasted malts. Big coffee flavor; very earthy and nutty. Some subtle floral hoppy notes progressively developed. Smooth tasty porter.
