4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Color is a deep dark black with just a hint of dark mahogany brown highlights around the edges. Smell is a fantastic blend of dark malts, burnt raisins, bitter coffee, and a hint of floral chocolate. Taste is rightfully dark. A bit of charred wood, more dark chocolate, and dark fruits.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at home split with Sarah. Dark mahogany brown coloured pour with reddy hues and a lasting light tan head. Aroma is sweet woody caramel, vanilla, with dark choc and woody roast with a hint of smoke. Flavour is composed of dark malts, robust roast and dark choc bitterness, little chalky mineral, charcoal. Palate is medium bodies, with spritzy carbonation, chalky water profile. Good beer but lacks a bit of depth.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at Irreale. Chocolate and coffee aroma. Dark chocolate flavor with peppery notes, nice tobacco background. When warmed, it has some new aroma notes, nutty hints and tobacco. Perhaps a little bit high acidity from the roasted malts. Good beer.
