4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nut brown coloured. Sweetish with big, soft, chewy maltiness. A hint of crystal malt. Finishes with a well balanced bitterness. I really like the malt profile in this beer!

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Brown color, clean, with compact head. Light aroma, some caramel and an impression of bread. Correct body strength; lean mouthfeel; some caramel flavor and correct bitterness.
Just a boring Imperial Amber Ale. This beer didn’t capture the essence of anything.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, 22oz. A dense, fingerthick beige head forms over an almost clear dark amber colored body. Microfloaties. The aroma is mostly on the malty side, with dried fruits and caramel. It’s full-bodied and lightly warming, with a pleasant carbonation level. Dry. Caramel maltyness, some dried fruits and a decent bitterness in the flavor. Lasting finish. Nothing impressive going on here, but a decent beer it is anyway. Lacks a bit on the sweetness. 140301

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy dark brown colour. Toasty, smokey aroma with a hint of brown sugar that also reminds me of a toasted coconut doughnut. So it would mix well with a coffee stout, then? Sweet, with rich toffee notes and accents of molasses and wood. I found the sweetness started to get to me by the end of the bomber but it’s a pretty solid beer and if sweet is your thing, do it up.
