JoeMcPhee (3443), Jackson Heights, New York, USA May 9, 2008 Tap at Mugs. Aroma is great, nice chewy sweetness with lots of sticky, chewy, peaty smoke. Rich maltiness, brown sugar, light rum and chewy sweetness. A bit of plumminess on the back. Rich palate, sweet but not cloying, silky mouthfeel. Lingering kettle caramelization and rich peaty smoke. No complaints about this one. Rogueone (95), I F&ckin’ hate those guys from, Ohio, USA May 7, 2008 Bottle: This one caught me off guard with the clinical aroma of cloth band-aids and perhaps an open bag of beef jerky that’s been sitting in your glove box for a couple days because you forgot about it at DLD. Fortunately the smoky taste is more peaty than meaty. Pretty mild flavor, some caramel, but finishes dry.
