| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 4, 2007 bottle- copper in color, off white head, fairly lacing, smells of malt and english hops, ken goldings perhaps. alcohol detected in taste, some grassyness, but mostly malt with some bitterness in the finish. A nice option for those not in the west coast ales dominating the market, but since I am into those, I won’t pick this up again. LinusStick (1856), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | May 3, 2007 A top of the line EPA. Aroma of earthy hops but not too strong. Pour was a beautiful hazy orange with no head. Taste was all toffee and malt in the beginning followed by a bitter earthy hop aftertaste. Nice and crisp and perfectly carbonated. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 23, 2007 This pours a hazy amber body with a short-lived beige head. The aroma is toffee, wildflowers, and damp soil. Medium bodied, it tastes of caramel and a light fruitiness with a mild floral bitter finish. Sessionable.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Apr 16, 2007 12 oz bottle from variety pack. Copper color, white head that dissipates quickly, average flavor, mouthfeel and palate. I would agree about the sourness. A touch of bitter hoppiness, getting it close to IPA territory, but not quite. Similar to the porter in that there is a bit of over-bitterness, which I wouldn’t expect out of a PA. Not one of the best pale ales I’ve had. theshocker (329), Marietta, Georgia, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 2, 2007 Earthy aroma. Light tan, medium head. A little sour, bitter, light body. Not very crisp at all really - drinkable but there’s a sourness that lingers in the aftertaste. I think there’s some major local bias going on here, drinkable not such a great PA. emerica56 (587), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA
