Copper-colored ale is medium-bodied and highly hopped. Its flavor is delightfully complex: tangy fruit at the start, with an assertive hop crispness and a long malty palate that one well-known beer writer has compared to the flavor of freshly-baked bread.

Deep amber body with a beautiful off-white head that clings nicely to the glass. Complex and inviting aroma. Caramel, berries, citrus, and a hint of pine. Smooth, creamy palate with a decent bite of carbonation at the back. The flavor takes the great aroma and steps it up a notch. Sweet entry with caramel and bread coming to mind. The brew finishes appropriately bitter with a grapefruit and pine bite.

Bottle. Pours a deep copper-orange with a high, light tan, lacy, medium-grained blown-insulation head. Nose is floral, apricot, rosemary, and biscuity. Toffee-orange sweetness on the front of the tongue, then with a herbal hops kick on the mid-palate; carbonation is light, with more treacly sweetness at the back of the mouth. Finish is long, sweet, and clean. Quite nice, and easy to drink.

Nose is yeast, peach, grain. Taste is cereal, biscuit, light bitterness malt. Incredibly forgettable bitter. I seem to have a drink with a completely different taste profile to some of the other reviews. Not exporting well?

Bottle from Cornelius. Hazy chestnut brown body with a thick off-white head. Light lacing. Aroma of leafy earthiness, dirt, tea and a minty finish. Flavour of grassy bitterness, caramel and lightly roasted malt. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Crisp and simple. Tastes like a classic Bitter.
