Tap. Pours hazy gold with average, creamy white head; short retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is brett, champagne yeast, green grapes, cookie and cereal malts, and citrus hops. Flavor is balanced dry, bready malts and light fruit esters with supporting grassy and citrus hops, brett, and light spice; dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Tap at Max’s Taphouse. Pours clear orange with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is grapes and pear esters with straw and biscuit malt, and spicy hops. Flavor is malt dominant with fruity esters, light hops and bitterness with a sweet finish. Medium body and carbonation.

2/12/13. On tap at Kickback’s testing before RBWG... shhhhh... Hazy orange pour with a nice khaki head that fades but sticks in a ring and laces plenty. Light funk and Brett in the aroma with some cracker, maltiness, and signs of aging, mainly oxidation. Light funk and Brett with some grapes, pale malts, and a bit of oxidation. Glad to taste! On draft @ Novare Res. Poured a deep golden color with a finger of sticky foam. Aromas are funky brett all the way with touches of fresh oak. On the palate it is a great combination of earthy sweet malts that marry the oaky vanilla, toasted notes with some bright funky tart brett action. Awesome beer.
