Commercial Description:
S'muttonator is a tasty mixture of German ingredients and good ol' fashioned New England tenaciousness. Our brewers take 30 hours to brew a single batch of this traditional Double Bock. Take your time and enjoy its rich, malty, and deceptively smooth flavor.

*did not like would not buy* aroma: clean booze. sweet mild malts. brown malts nannners. real mild. app: beautiful warm rich glowing color. magic. flavor: warm nutty buttery malt goodness. kinda sharp booze. some acidic hops in the finish, they seem odd and out of place . they hops grow and grow and get out of balance, this is more like a good DIPA. way outta line. palate: fine to fizzy. OA: was good till i got hop hammered. then boo!

Bottle. Pours a nice dark amber/brown color with small head that is gone within a few seconds. Nose is caramel, sweet candy sugar and faint fruity smell and light nutty aroma. Taste is same. Alcohol is present but plays well with the flavors. mouthfeel is smooth. not a big fan of this style but this was enjoyable.

Bottle - pours a deep amber with a tight foam that quickly falls into a skim of light bubbles. Aroma is malt and alcohol. Caramel, toffee and booze dominate the nose. Flavor is similar with plenty of malt, caramel, toffee with a spicy hoppy note before the light fruity & alcoholic dry finish. Medium body.

Pours a very dark brown with thin beige head. Aroma of caramel, chocolate maltines and tofee. Very quaffable beer with the high abv very well hidden. Flavor consists of caramel, roasted malt, chocolate brown sugar, cinamon and toffee. Sweet dry finish. Excellent.

Deep amber color with a big, fluffy tan head that lasts and leaves sticky foam on the side of the glass. Nose of brown sugar sprinkled over malted milk balls. Very sweet, malty beer. Lots of melted toffee, lightly burnt caramel, malt syrup, and some fruitiness to balance it out. This is a tastey Double Bock, and is very easy to drink for a 9.6% ABV.

2006 bomber. Really fine stuff for a chilly night. A deep ruby color and a sizable head on the pour, this beer gives off a fine nutty aroma that’s quite promising. The flavor is deep and complex, with strong caramel, a hint of tart fruits, and a long malty finish. Nice body, a very nice doppelbock.
