Very nice aroma of nuts and malt. Very nice and complex taste. very warming with a great after taste. JCB (1713), Durham, North Carolina, USA Dec 16, 2007 2006 bomber. Really fine stuff for a chilly night. A deep ruby color and a sizable head on the pour, this beer gives off a fine nutty aroma that’s quite promising. The flavor is deep and complex, with strong caramel, a hint of tart fruits, and a long malty finish. Nice body, a very nice doppelbock.
