Bottle, but I think had this as Shortbatch #11 at Tyler’s a few months ago when I couldn’t find it here on the site. Pours a slightly hazy pale goal with a generous white head. Nose is grassy hops and fresh bread. Some floral and light lemony notes. Clean, refreshing, and delicious.

Tap at sam’s. pours a clean yellow straw with a thick, foamy steady white head and lace. Nose is super sazzy, grassy, light biscuit malts. Super clean, fresh, grassy sazz flavor. Really easy to drink but packs lots of flavor. Delicious.

Appearance: Pours a hazy yellow gold with a thin sudsy head that subsides to a tight white cap.

Aroma: Beautiful herbal and perfumy Euro hop, dry biscuity malt. Slight husk.

Taste: Mild spicy hops, breadiness.Twangy yet crisp snappy finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied average carbonation.

Overall: A delicious classic! Fresh and tasty.

Pours a soft and light straw yellow with two fingers of sticky white head. Nose is bright and spicy with some freshly cut grass and citrus rind. A light bready sweetness balances the flavor and nose. Definitely hop forward in the overall character. Dry and zesty hop feel in the mouth. Peppery and lightly grassy with a very mild bitterness. Light and dry body with a touch of malt balance.

Great pils. Pours typical pils color of light straw. Not much of a nose - some malt. Taste was of malt with some bitterness. Really easy to drink and very refreshing - hit the spot. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

one of the finest american versions of a german pilsner. crystal clear, super pale straw yellow color, reasonable head, though head fades quickly. nice malty, grainy, slightly bread-like aroma. clean malty flavor, with just enough saaz to balance out the flavor and give a little bitter kick. wonderful beer!

12 oz bottle into a pint glass. 5.2% indicated on bottle. A: Pours a lightly hazy straw color and a two fingers high white head. Its retention is good for the style, settling at one finger, and leaves spotty lacing on the glass. Even better is its creamy, frothy texture. S: There are some nice zesty, grassy, even mildly sulphury hops here. Behind that lies a bit of cracker-like malt and even some sweetness. Typical but likable. T: At first, I pick up touches of mild grassy hops, and later on the finish. Sandwiched between the two is a vaguely sweet malt backbone and even some citrusy qualities. Though the flavor profile doesn’t stick out, it’s certainly a well made and enjoyable version of the style. I could use even more hoppiness, though. M: The dry finish helps balance its sweetness some, and is generally very easy to drink. I’d also call the carbonation level ’spot on’. O: A solid pilsner. Hops could be more pronounced, but otherwise there’s little to complain about other than the lack of uniqueness - which isn’t a big deal, either.

Yummy. $1.79 for the single bottle purchased from Top Shelf Brews. To undersized snifter, it pours a clear light yellow; sudsy snowy white head barely a fingernail in length. Smells and tastes of pilsner malt, corn, Saaz hops, tin, seaweed, and German yeast. Clean and smooth. Finally a sessionable beer that doesn’t suck.

I bought this before realizing it was past the best by date - thankfully, this seems to have held up very well - lightly hazy gold - effervescent body - nose has a moderate mineral bite, clean, crisp pils malt, lightly grassy hops - full, frothy texture in the mouth - flavor is medium dry, fairly crisp, with mild mineral dryness - grassy bitterness late - light, clean pils malt sweetness before a quick, crisp, mildly bitter finish - pretty nice.
