12 oz bottle into a pint glass. 5.2% indicated on bottle. A: Pours a lightly hazy straw color and a two fingers high white head. Its retention is good for the style, settling at one finger, and leaves spotty lacing on the glass. Even better is its creamy, frothy texture. S: There are some nice zesty, grassy, even mildly sulphury hops here. Behind that lies a bit of cracker-like malt and even some sweetness. Typical but likable. T: At first, I pick up touches of mild grassy hops, and later on the finish. Sandwiched between the two is a vaguely sweet malt backbone and even some citrusy qualities. Though the flavor profile doesn’t stick out, it’s certainly a well made and enjoyable version of the style. I could use even more hoppiness, though. M: The dry finish helps balance its sweetness some, and is generally very easy to drink. I’d also call the carbonation level ’spot on’. O: A solid pilsner. Hops could be more pronounced, but otherwise there’s little to complain about other than the lack of uniqueness - which isn’t a big deal, either.

Bottle. The look is clear, white head, and yellow in color. The smell is a grainy floral sweetness and straw. The taste is sweet, grainy, malt, and ok.

Not bad for a pilsener, which by definition cannot be great. Some grass and grain but over-carbonated.

Bottle. Not a big fan of this style but this one is pretty good. Cloudy gold color with a big head. Aroma with a will balanced grain smell. Taste is well balanced and tasty.

12oz bottle. Hazy bright yellow body...unfiltered..not what I would expect from the style. Creamy, soapy respectable white head, patchy after a minute or two. Pretty clean, straightforward aroma, some nice clean noble hops, not so much spicy as fresh and zesty. An awesome Pils, this is the real deal. Well expressed hop flavor and solid malt ingredients coupled with solid execution make this a pretty great example of the style. Well done, the lack of filtration gives it a fuller body, depth.

Had a pint of this at the Pump House. It was almost clear and was grassy and grainy. Just a little honey and yeast. Very light drinking fare.

12 oz bottle from BOTW (Rochester), served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.

App.: Slightly hazy light golden with a decent bright white head, good lacing. Aroma: Peppery/spicy/green/herbal German hopping supported by grainy Pils malt, quite spicy and peppery. Palate: Medium body, full, rounded carbonation. Flav.: A bit more malt presence compared to the nose, otherwise, quite similar with firm German hops presence; quite dry with moderate+ bitterness and a grainy malt and herbal hop finish.

Decentbar? A good example of a German Pils, which I don’t always enjoy.

Pours a brilliant yellowish color with a faint green tint and a large bready white head. Notes of lime zest, herbal tea, honey and something airy. Nice

On target Bohemian pilsner, fresh bottle from Craft Beer Cellar. Unoffensive, lots of foamy white head on banana yellow. Drinkable stuff, saaz hops.
