3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle into a pint glass. 5.2% indicated on bottle.
A: Pours a lightly hazy straw color and a two fingers high white head. Its retention is good for the style, settling at one finger, and leaves spotty lacing on the glass. Even better is its creamy, frothy texture.
S: There are some nice zesty, grassy, even mildly sulphury hops here. Behind that lies a bit of cracker-like malt and even some sweetness. Typical but likable.
T: At first, I pick up touches of mild grassy hops, and later on the finish. Sandwiched between the two is a vaguely sweet malt backbone and even some citrusy qualities. Though the flavor profile doesn’t stick out, it’s certainly a well made and enjoyable version of the style. I could use even more hoppiness, though.
M: The dry finish helps balance its sweetness some, and is generally very easy to drink. I’d also call the carbonation level ’spot on’.
O: A solid pilsner. Hops could be more pronounced, but otherwise there’s little to complain about other than the lack of uniqueness - which isn’t a big deal, either.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Taster at the source. I’m not a big fan of pilsners, so bear that in mind if you bother reading this. Pours straw gold with a big white head. Everything she pours is like half head. Aroma is biscuit and lemon. Flavor is biscuit, lemon, a bit of almond. Saaz hop finish. Solid.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Smells nice, fresh, and lightly hoppy, bready and a bit yeasty. Taste is moderately crisp with a yeastiness as it warms. Decent pilsner, but not one of my favorites.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
About a month past best by date.
A: Deep dirty yellow. Maybe some chill haze. Half finger of tight white head. decent retention and good lacing
S: Biscuit bread/pretzel with herbal hops.
T: Sharp maltiness with herbal hops note almost all at once. Sourdough malt flavor is most pronounced. Hops linger on the finish.
M: Nice and not quite as light as I expected. Average but nice enjoyable level of carbonation. Fairly dry pleasant finish.
O: I like this beer in general but this is perhaps lacking a bit of "snap" that I’m used to due to age.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz Bottle. Appearance is clear, yellow color with lots of foamy, off-white head. Aroma is mild grains, straw, and some grass. Taste is malty sweet, grain, grass hop bitterness. Palate is light-bodied, thin texture, somewhat watery, and a partially dry finish. Ok Pilsner but slightly too thin even for the style.
