COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An authentic bavarian-style hefeweizen. Light and refreshing, with the hazy appearance and tangy flavor characteristic of its style.

Pours a light haze, pale gold with a good head at first but it fades. Smells moslty phenolic but gets some banana as it warms. Some spicy clove hints as well. Flavor is yeasty, but mostly wheat malt and smooth, somewhat sweet with a touch of vanilla as it warms a bit. Smooth creamy mouthfeel. Pretty good overall but not as complex as some of the great german examples like weihenstephaner.

Pours a lightly hazy golden with a nicely lacing white head. Aroma is semi-sweet, yeasty, and peppery with hints of citrus. Starts with a hint of wheaty sweetness turning more dry and peppery toward the semi-tart finish. Has some nice mild banana flavor. Could use some more sweetness and a touch less citric tartness with more bready yeasty character, but still a decent brew.

bottle. cloudy golden body with a long-lasting plush white head. Great aroma of yeast, banana, bubblegum, and pepper spice. Unfortunately the flavour didn’t have any fruity flavours which I come to expect from the style. All it consisted of was an abrasive spice flavour. It’s refreshing, but doesn’t really fit the style. great name and label though :)

Bottle: Pours yellow with a medium white head. Really creamy head. Light banana and clove aroma with a touch of lemon. Light wheatiness with a bit of hop bitterness in the finish. Mild banana and coriander. A nice wheat. Long lasting fluffy head.

Lot’s of zingy lemon spice and clove in the nose of this weizenheimer. Cloudy yellow with long lasting thin head and good lacing. Taste has an expected tang to it along with a handfull of peppery spices and a bit of hop presence also. Not quite refreshing enough to drink in quantity. (from Circle Liquors, NJ)

Bottle, from Julio’s. Good nose, Lemon, clove, grass, banana. Tad hazy yellow/gold color. Small white head that faded quickly. Sweet spiced flavors, same as aromas with a little of a tinniness in there. Medium bodied, lite creamy mouthfeel, smooth dry finish. Seems nice, not a style I have a good feel for, easy drinking. A lawn mower for sure.

im used to my hefeweizens on being yellow/orange and hazy, but this was yellow like a pale lager. That was the main disappointment in this beer. It had a decent aroma with some citrus notes and a spicy sense in the back. Flavour was intally yeasty with some spicy notes, finishing with a subtle yet apporprate hop finish. Reall smooth, good.

Its ok. Nice and refreshing but nothing special. I’m really not a fan of hefeweizen beer but this was ok.

This beer poured a nice golden color with very little head. The aromas were nice showing some wheat, oak earthiness and faint citrus. After your first sip you will notice the hops right away. Unlike traditional wheat beers this one makes a grand display of the hops. there is also a faint tate of citrus but for the most part is all hops. Not a bad beer but not my first choice at the bar.

Decent for a hefe, better than what other people are saying here. Not too hazy and it doesn’t have the beautiful glow of a hefe. Lacks the smell of a proper hefe. Ok, maybe this is not a great hefe, but it is still a very drinkable beer. Fairly refreshing, only a slight harsh aftertaste. Little bit of citrus as well.
