Ho-hum. Yet another boring American Wheat. Mostly clear yellow beer with a small, quickly dissipating head. Some yeast in the nose and minor spice notes in the flavor. Otherwise watery and bland.

(bottle - 12 oz) Found this one in some old tasting notes. Cloudy yellow pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is tart with lots of wheat, lemongrass, and some other citrus notes. Flavor is grainy and dry with a sour lemon taste near the end. Some light banana on the aftertaste.

1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Citrus, sour wheat smell; kind of a corriander spice aroma.
Yellow-straw in color, slightly cloudy, small head, slight lace
Very tart with an abundance of wheat flavor. Rather thin. Did I mention tart? What a naughty beer. Puckering aftertaste.
If you like powerful wheat beers, this one might be for you. I prefer smooth hefeweizens. I can’t recommend this one; it’s too much for me.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: FEB 18, 2010 Rated 9/24/04. Notes. Cloudy, peach colored with a thick off-white head which produced some nice lacing. Just not much here in terms of flavor. Somewhat weak with citrus and lemon that seemed a little watered down. Very easy to drink though, refreshing and still not a bad choice for a hot day. Always looking for a solid summer beer and sure, I’d get it again.

Bottle (rating from August 2005 notes). A light yellow gold color with a laced white head. Flavors of banana, coriander, citrus and lemon. A nice spiced aroma. I was surprised at the quality of this brew given the color.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
pours clear golden with a small white head. decent lacing. banana coriander aroma with a hint of citrus. bitter orange flavor with quite a bit of coriander. the finish is bitter citrus and spicy coriander....a bit too bitter and the bitterness lasts for a bit too long making it a bit unpleasant. light bodied. fizzy carbonation. not horrible but not too good.
