on tap - philadelphia - tasted like a powerful barleywine that went wrong. maybe it’s not my cup of ale, but I didn’t enjoy this. Reddish copper color, big bubble carbonation with very little head around the edges. Flavor was sour to start and finished with an aftertaste that just wouldn’t go away.

Aug 6, 2008 Bottle courtesy tpd975. Pours a hazy amber with a one finger off-white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of sweet malt, wheat, spicy yeast, and light fruit. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a moderate amount of bitterness and smooth alcohol. Very good.

Aug 5, 2008 Unclear amber with tiny beige bupply head. Sweet fruity aroma with citric and caramel notes. Sweet flavor with wheat fruity and caramel notes.

Aug 4, 2008 cloudy amber/grapefruit pour with an average head. sweet fruit on the nose, alcohol evident in taste but with a dry finish. Good beer.

Jul 30, 2008 Pours amber orange with a decent cream colored head. Nise sweet nose with caramel and dried fruits. The mouthfeel is smooth. The flavor is a bit too sweet with sugars and caramel.

Jul 22, 2008 Bottle (2007). Pours orange/red with an off white head. Sweet aroma of honey and caramel, with fruity and grassy hop notes. Medium body, very warming in the mouth. Flavor is sweet malt, with fruit and caramel as well as grass. Alcohol is slightly noticeable. Pretty good.
