Interesting beer - parts of this are outstanding - armoa, color, and some of the taste... more of a winter warmer than dubbel...great aroma of dark fruits, toffee, brown sugar. dirty hazy dark brown sludgy pour. taste better as it warms and some great flavors - doesn’t all come together perfectly but worth a couple of bottles.

Definitely like a dubbel. Caramel, dried raisins/figs, sour yeast along with very mild hops bitterness. Fairly warming. Would be better with food as opposed to just on its own, as I tried it.

Bottle to pint glass. Brown in color with a tan head and little lacing. Aroma is toffee, caramel, and malts. Flavor is sour malts, toffee, and more rich caramel. Average mouthfeel and somewhat sticky. Ok beer.

Look is Dark dark brown. Off white head. Aroma is barley, cherry, plum. Doesn’t jump out at you. Taste is molasses, lots of malt,...aftertaste is burnt sugars. Feel is heavy, sticky. Good warming winter beer.

Bottle. Deep amber brownish pour, decent head retention, nose is malt, caramel, raisins. Mouth is bittersweet, medium-full, toffee, dried fruit, malt, yeasty spice, weird fuckin aftertaste. Meh.

Tap @ Jack Browns. Hazy brown with minimal head., not getting strong aroma- maybe some toffee and coriander. Sweet.

Bottle: Sweeter than I anticipated it being, nice full mouthfeel - was expecting more of the yeast character than I get from it.

Thick red pour, hardly any head. Nose is roasted malt. More sweet than bitter. Middle is strong toffee and faint dried fruit. Finish is still fairly sweet. Not bad, but also not an abbey ale.
