COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named in honor of the doggy denizens of Brussels, this hybrid beer is a mix of what we love best in a big, roasty stout, but fermented with a Belgian yeast, which brings out a beautiful fruity nose. We set aside a portion of the batch to age in bourbon barrels to allow the stouts chocolate and caramel flavors to marry with the woods natural vanilla and toastiness. The final blend pairs well with both savory dishes and your favorite desserts.

Poured from a cold bottle. Dark brown color almost black, small tan head. Vanilla roasted malt smell. Cream, coffee, alcohol with a hint of bourbon.

Mild nose, hint of bourbon, aroma reminiscent of a stout. Malty taste, a bit sweet, definite coffee flavor. Palate has hint of bourbon.

Bomber from BottleSelect.com. Pours dark brown black with a tan head. Aroma is bourbon, smooth dark malt, and darkish fruit. Full bodied, or at least nearly so. Flavor is chocolate, bourbon, smooth dark malt, treacle and something more like dates than plums. Wood is not strong, but present. Actually wood seems to get strong in the finish. As does coffee. There’s a lot going on with this one.

Dark brown/black color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of toasted sweet malt, caramel, dark fruit, & chocolate; Flavor of roasted sweet malt, yeast, chocolate, dark fruit, and some licorice; Nicely balanced; Foreign stout style - good.

Probably should be listed as a foreign stout. A very belgian yeasty stout with fruityness, candy sugar and spices that dominate the base stout a lot. Decent but not my favorite style.

Pretty oxidized, flat, but that might be my fault, good roast malts which is a good sign

From 22oz bottle. Nice mild aroma with definite hints of bourbon. Dark brown with tan head. Fresh taste with plenty of pop - more highly carbonated than most stouts. Cocoa flavors come out as beer warms up. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not the biggest stout fan. But this was incredible! Very nice scent, Carmel, chocolate, vanilla, with the barrel. Flavor has all of the scents above but finishes with a very distinctive coffee taste. De freaking lish!

Bomber from Beer Run. Pours a clear very dark brown color with a large creamy tan head. Fair head retention. Aroma of big cocoa notes, moderately strong bourbon and mild roast. The taste is nutty, cocoa, bourbon, banana, dark fruits. Medium bodied, quite delicious.

Bottle. Black with a tan head. Nose is chocolate and roasted malt. Taste opens with strong bourbon notes, supplemented by chocolate and roasted malt. Prominent yeast profile. Mouthfeel is medium with a little carb. Solid if unspectacular. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
