3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Dark brown with fine tan head. First whiff of the aroma was red wine, but it quickly almost disappears and the aroma becomes malty sweet, chocolate. Taste is sweet, soft, caramel, butter, a little liquorice. Nice brew, but a little to sweet for my liking. Would categorize it as an imperial stout.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
33 cl bottle.
Pours black color with a medium sized off-white head. Some cocoa and malts coming through on the nose, faint chocolate and caramel, fair amount of hops too, maybe a bit of soy somewhere on the background. Very creamy and fluffy palate, lots of caramel and some marshmallow, slightly syrupy and sugary, dark malts and faint cocoa. A tad too sweet but alcohol is very well hidden, then again the strong carbonation kind of waters up the beer a bit too.

Bottle 33cl. Deep black with a beige head. Roasted malt and liquorice in the nose. Very intense aroma. Nice intense taste. Hints of tar, rich and at the same time not overwhelming. Balanced bitter finish with a nice length. Great beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bit like a double stout. Has a body of roasted malt, but lacks the aggresiveness of a IS. Sort of like an IS for starters.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
33cl bottle @ home from Mitra. Nearly black color, big brown creamy head, good lacing. Aroma coffee, plum and glue in the nose, flavor is chocolate, some coffee, licorice, soy sauce, dark fruits, slightly wineish, roasted malt, all moderated. Alcohol is slightly noticable. Taste light sweetness, medium to heavy toasty bitterness, slightly acidic. Medium body, slick feel, soft carbonation, not very long lasting moderated bitter finish. Fine but a bit too easy for a russian imperial stout.
