Brown, small rim of a head. Nose of melasses, some coffee. Sweet taste, more bitter and dry near the end, some roast. No alc. detected and a bit watery midpalate. Good enough, but not world class.

bottle at a bar, poured a black colour with a big tanned mocha head, roasted malts, dark bakers chocolate, raisins, red fruit, plums, bit of smoke, could have used a bit more boddie.

Bottle 33cl. Clear but very dark brow with a ruby hue against the light, one finger foamy tan head, dissipates quickly but good lacing; aroma roasted malts, cocoa, coffee, dark fruits, licorice; taste soft sweetbitter, dark chocolate, coffee, hint of laurel; medium to full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation; finish smooth bittersweet, lingering roasty and chocolate aftertaste. Alcohol well hidden. Good example of a more light version of IRS.

Goede balans

A pretty decent, though very basic imperial stout. Chocolate and licorice dominate. Some astringency tempered by the nice sweet finish.

33 cl bottle.
Pours black color with a medium sized off-white head. Some cocoa and malts coming through on the nose, faint chocolate and caramel, fair amount of hops too, maybe a bit of soy somewhere on the background. Very creamy and fluffy palate, lots of caramel and some marshmallow, slightly syrupy and sugary, dark malts and faint cocoa. A tad too sweet but alcohol is very well hidden, then again the strong carbonation kind of waters up the beer a bit too.

330 mml bottle tasted on 13/08/2014. Almost deep black colour with a medium beige head. Aroma of cola, coffee and liquorice. On the mouth a lot of coffee, chocolate, liquorice, dark fruits and caramel. Aftertaste is nice. Carbonation and body are medium. ¿Imperial Stout? I don´t know...Next one please!
