Dark brown coloured beer with an off white head. Strong coffee malty roasted aroma. Full creamy palate. Finish is full malty, strong bitter burned with alcoholic touches. Nice.

Yesterday @ kerstbierfestival; from bottle, 33 cl. Dar red-brown color, with lightbrown head. Aroma roasted malts, spice. Medium to full body. Taste roasted malts, some chocolate and a bitter finish. Good for us.

Deep mahogany beer; small yellowish rim. Sourish nose with a spicy lining, not unlike resin. Black cardemompeel. Spicy, but outspoken dry taste. Again cardemom, roasted and some chocolate; getting unexpected depths. Very dry, on the verge of astringent. Alcoholwarming and despite the dryness, well-bodied. Ah, Derek, this is a good one. You might be more sceptic yourself, I like it, and to hell with styleindications. Pity about the weak nose.

Heavy malty, light bread and a little bit of dark chocolate. Large creamy, light brown head. Good lacing. Mostly lasting longevity. Dark brown body. Moderate bitter taste of dark chocolate. Medium palate.

Sampled on tap at Wildeman. A really nice, smooth, knock-your-socks off kinda beer that would earn higher ratings from me if I had more access to it.

On draft at Arendsnest, Amsterdam. Red-brown coloured. Caramel malts and fruity notes in aroma together with some roasted malts and some alcohol. Sweet flavour with obvious complexity, great mouthfeel. Very nice brew.
