| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 16, 2007 Deep mahogany beer; small yellowish rim. Sourish nose with a spicy lining, not unlike resin. Black cardemompeel. Spicy, but outspoken dry taste. Again cardemom, roasted and some chocolate; getting unexpected depths. Very dry, on the verge of astringent. Alcoholwarming and despite the dryness, well-bodied. Ah, Derek, this is a good one. You might be more sceptic yourself, I like it, and to hell with styleindications. Pity about the weak nose. cheeta (904), Langå, Denmark
