2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 NachlamSie (2077) - Tennessee, USA - JAN 28, 2012
Bottle best before March 2012. Ordered in the mail from the brewery. Pours a solid amber color with a small white head. Aroma is musty with just a bit of hoppiness. More caramel, corn and copper is noticed. Flavor is smooth, but doesn’t really offer anything interesting to me. I suppose that is the point of this beer. Toffee-like flavor is the most prominent character of the beer. The finish fades pretty quickly.

Had this at the Brewery, sold as Snake River Lager. Honestly nothing special, but still very good and tasty and quickly recommended.

Bottle ordered from the brewery as part of a mixed 12-pack. Served in a pilsner glass.
Pours brings a copper-red brew that is mostly transparent with some visible carbonation. Thin white head without too much retention power. Some spotty lacing on the sides of the glass. The nose brings forward a brew with a bit of oxidation along with some light amber malt and bread crust. The flavor falls along the same lines. There is some doughy malt sweetness and a hint of toffee. Very mild earthy hop presence lingering in the background. Medium body with okay carbonation and a bit of an off finish. Drinks decently enough, though I’m not a huge fan.

Huge thanks to Alex for this Wyoming tick. 12oz bottle into a small tasting glass...Pours a light copper clear body, not appealing. A big head, lots of carbonation, good retention, spotty lacing...A strong malty aroma, lots of caramel and sugar on the front. Toasted nuts and faint floral hops on the back do not hide the light skunk finish...The taste is overshadowed by the super light and watery feel, as soon as it hits my lips I’m bored and disappointed. The taste itself is nothing special, skunk and oak with a caramel finish. The hops are gone.
Not much of fan of this. After the brewery hype I’d love to try some of their other offerings, but this is one worth skipping.

Dark amber color. Bready caramel nose. Very malty mouth, a touch sweet. The choice of malts and hops is a bit odd, still a decent little beer.

caramel body, small white head. sweet nose of caramel, munich and vienna malts: light toffee, medium pancake syrup and mildly dirty yeast phenols (vitamin b). at 6% it’s full bodied and syrupy with a nutrisweet flavor masked by caramel malt. low hop bitterness, flabby texture, watery finish. needs to be cleaned up some, dried out a bit and brought down to 5% or lower.
