Pours a transparent copper orange with a spotty-lacing white head. Aroma of earthy English hops and some semi-sweet pale malts. Starts mildly sweet and grainy caramely malty with some piny hop presence toward a drier, bittersweet finish. Doesn’t really seem like much of a brown ale, and pretty bland at that.

Bottle via trade with Irishboy. Slight aroma of grainy malt, wheat toast and some grassy hops. Pours rich copper with minimal lacing. Flavor has some simple caramel malt with minimal hop bitterness bodied. Slightly metallic. Thin to medium bodied. Finishes short and dry. Simple but drinkable.

12oz bottle thanks to IrishBoy. Interesting nose of toasted brown sugar and maple, with some sharp and spicy hops. The brown sugar bread note this is pretty nice. Flavor-wise it falls right in with typical brown ale, with some chewy munich or caramel malt, some pasty yeast notes and a mild hop presence, that sits a little higher than most brown ale. A very drinkable brown ale.

Light brown red color. Medium thickness, a tad watery. No real essence of much other than a lot of caramel. Tiny bit of hops near the end.

Poured a medium brown color with average head and lacing. Aroma nutyy caramel and some hop to it. Flavor was ho hum typical for style but lacking depth. Ho hum

12 oz bottle, bought in Cheyenne; nose of nuts and caramel; clear amber-brown with a medium tan head; flavor of caramel, light coffee notes, and a background of light hop bitterness. Would make an acceptable session brew!

Had someone bring this back for me from Wyoming. A fairly simple amber/brown with a nice nutty flavor. I would love to be able to get this on a more regular basis, very easy drinking.
