Pours an slightly cloudy gold, with a fluffy white head and good lacing. The nose is citrus, pine, and caramel malts. Medium in body, and very refreshing mouthfeel. The flavor is very well balanced between the tasty malts and flavorful and nicely bitter hops. The finish shows both fruit and a prefect degree of bitterness. Exceptionally refreshing and easy drinking. An exceptional IPA.

Draft, Snow Eagle Brewery in Idaho Falls. Clear golden-amber with a lasting foam. Luscious aromas of caramel, citrus, florals, resin and honeycomb. Flavors are an excellent blend of the same. Light-medium body is well-balanced, with a crisp dry finish and very sessionable.

This poured a semi cloudy dark yellow to orange color with a beige head. Aroma was nice amounts of fruity citrusy hops with light biscuty malts there too. Finally an IPA’s taste lives up to its aroma, nice bitter fruit and light pine balanced slightly by sweeter biscuty caramel mlat. Very refreshing.

Draft at GABF, new State! This was a damn fine IPA. Pours an attractive deep gold, slight haze with a fluffy white head. The nose is really brilliant a fruity citrusy with some light pine and floral. Faint caramel notes that really work here. On taste, very well balanced. Great bitterness level and more of that fresh hoppy goodness. Crisp and refreshing, one of my favorites of the fest. Excellent!

On tap at the brewery. Poured a clear orange color with a small white head. Aroma of citrus and floral hops with some malts in the background. Flavor of floral hops with a nice bitter finish and a decent malt backbone. A pretty good beer made better by the environment.

Poured from a can while sitting at the Cowboy Bar in Jackson. Tried to get on draft at the Brewpub, but they were out, go figure. Their flagship beer and they did not have it the two times we were in there. Light golden, with medium off white head, with a mild piney nose and just a hint of citrus. On the bitter side, not as well balanced as I expected, given all I had heard about Pako’s. Drinkable with a nice aftertaste however.

Can poured a clear gold with a small lasting ivory head. Aromas of biscuit, grapefruit, mint, lemon and light pine. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, grapefruit, orange zest and light pine with a crisp dry bitter lingering citrus finish.

Sampled at CanFest 2011 in Reno. I enjoyed this one a bit more than the pale. Good, strong woodsy hop character with a backbone of malt.
