Appearance: pours a 1" sudsy white head which recedes slowly with significant lacing. Color is a mostly clear golden-orange with plenty of carbonation present. Aroma: pleasant combination of floral and pine hop aromas with a sweet caramel bready malt. Mouthfeel: fairly light bodied with a slightly sticky mouthfeel. Finish is dry. Flavor: delicious combination of well balanced hops and malt. There is some floral, pine, and citrus from the hops. This is met with a sweet maltiness as well as some cracker flavor. It is easy to see why this ale is a multi-year medal winner at the GABF.

Tap @ Sanford’s Cheyenne. Pours a Golden orange appearance with a white head. Grapefruity, citrusy, kind of doughy, grassy hoppy aroma. Cracker, toasted malty, a bit sweet, orange citrusy flavor. Not a bad session ale.

Can. Hazy orange. Aromatic orange and some marzipan in the nose, bitter, citrusy and tarty taste. Rather light bodied, nice bitter finish. Well-balanced.

(can) hazy orange amber colour with a medium tall white head; aroma: earthy, floral notes first, then some fruit; thin, watery palate; simple flavour with long medium bitter finish; not very attractive

Pours off the tap with a clear, pale, golden color. Sizeable off-white head with some lacing and good retention. Nose is hardy hops and very light caramel notes. Flavors are light hopping with good carbonation and a clean, crisp finish. Nothing too exciting. Probably good for a non-craft drinker.

Part of a flight at the brewery - deep gold/light orange color with a small head and lacing. Nice hoppy backbone and a light refreshing finish.

Found this in a can on a road trip and since I am always looking for regional beers, I had to try it. I know cans are coming back, but I still prefer bottles. This beer did not really impress me and I couldn’t see the color. It is pretty light in flavor and there was nothing remarkable about it.
