COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Jenny Lake Lager is an amber colored Vienna style lager. An authentic German lager yeast strain insures a mild profile. Imported German malts impart a rich, caramel flavor which is balanced with the subtle use of continental hop varieties. The malt forward, slightly sweet profile of Snake River Lager makes it a fine complement to pizzas and red meat.

Aroma - caramel malt. Appearance - the body is a clean mahogany, with a little nucleation. The head is around 1 1/2" and beige in color, and the head settles quickly. Nice lacing. Taste - caramel malt and very subtle hops. Palate - medium body, smooth texture, carbonation is average, and mellow finish.

Draft. Clear reddish amber with a lasting white head. Grass and caramel aroma, pretty nice. Nice caramel flavor, lightly sweet, old country hoppy finish. Medium bodied with a nice feel. Good for the style.

Crusty big bubble head takes a while to die down.. clear orange brew. Clean malts are the lion’s share of the aroma.. toasted more than caramel. Flavor is very fresh... inviting.. very smooth and drinkable.. toasted malts with a low earthy hop presence.. Great body for the style and again.. drinkable for days. Everyone loves Zonker, but the Vienna lager is my favorite Snake River brew.

12 oz. can from The Liquor Store & Wine Loft (Albertson’s) in Jackson. Pours a clear, deep orange color with a big, frothy off-white head that leaves heavy lace and settles into an uneven foam cap. Notes of caramel and toasted malts, tea, orange, earth, and some metallic notes. Light-medium bodied, with moderate to medium carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel. The smell offers more than the flavor but it’s a decent Vienna.

12oz can, thanks to phaleslu. Can foamed over a bit on opening. Hazy amber orange color. Bigger pake khaki head. Leaves some bubbly forthy ropes and ridges of lace. Caramel malt in the flavor, mild toastiness, mild spiciness. Mostly caramel. Moderate to bigger sweet taste, light bitter. Medium body. Kind of a creamy, full body. Mild slick texture. Lighter smooth carbonation. Alright, and better than expected really.. But kind of one-note. Sweet and caramelly.

Hiking reward on a small beach overlooking Jenny Lake in Grand Teton NP. Clear caramel and gold color with a nice tan head. Aroma is traditional lager yeast with some sweetness. A little malt sweetness with a touch of bitterness. Enjoyable.
