A Vienna style Lager with caramel flavor balanced by an earthy German hop aroma. "Smoooooooth!"

Pours slightly hazy amber/orange with a thick frothy beige head. Aroma of apple, toffee, and bready malts. Taste is full of bready malts, fruit, floral hops and a very mild bitterness. Medium full body, soft carbonation. Very nice, great session beer.

UPDATED: APR 1, 2012 Copper color, with a very short lived off white head. Light caramel malt aroma. Malt flavor, some caramel and grain, with lager yeast. Solid. 6/3/7/3/15 Rerate from a fresh bottle. Big malt profile, the caramel is still there. Mild & dry hop aroma. This beer has excellent palate, and this is an outstanding session beer.

Copper colour with a thick tan head. Aroma is sweet caramel and toasted malt, baking bread tones. Flavour is nice smooth toasted malt, sweet caramel body, some fruitiness in the finish. A little bit of a sticky residue Very nice though.

12oz bottle. Cloudy, amber-orange brown color. Thin, fading head. Sweet and malty, medium bodied. Caramel notes, pretty middle of the road. Some toasty amber notes. Easy drinking, but lacks much depth.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a small white head. Aroma is light with hint of malt. Flavor is sweet: malty with a slight hop flavor finish. Not really one of my favorites. But not too bad.

Hazy amber with a thin white head, gone in a flash. Light aroma of Munich toasted malt, bread and light caramel. Taste of toasted malt, mild fruit and caramel. Palate slightly on the thin side and it finishes crisp with a touch of hops. Some fruit lingers on the back end. Pretty run of the mill.

Bottle. Pours a nice amber/copper color with a large white head that slowly fades. Taste is of roasted malt and caramel, with a slightly bitter finish. Aroma is much the same, except hops can be detected. Overall, this is a nice, easy to drink beer that is rather enjoyable.

bottle - Pours dark copper with a one finger white head. It smells mostly of bready malt. The flavor is very sweet malt with a hint of fruit. It’s thin and seems off. The malt profile isn’t work for me and the hops is barely there.

I earnestly hope that I got a bad batch of this stuff. Yuck! all around...and I’m very easy to please. The head is sorry and overly bubbly, the appearance is more like an amber beer. But most of all the taste is terribly wrong. It’s stringy, metallic and glassy. The worst part is the finish. Not only is it long, but it lingers with a distinct taste of wet and rotting cardboard (at least that what I think that would taste like). Had high hopes for a local...but it just didn’t work out.
