Jenny Lake Lager is an amber colored Vienna style lager. An authentic German lager yeast strain insures a mild profile. Imported German malts impart a rich, caramel flavor which is balanced with the subtle use of continental hop varieties. The malt forward, slightly sweet profile of Snake River Lager makes it a fine complement to pizzas and red meat.

bottle-pours a deep copper golden color-lots of aggressive big bubble carbonation. Off white head that dissipated quickly. super sweet malt aroma. nice palate-sweet and spicy german hops. very thick like bobs 47. a very worthy lager. thanks to Whaleman on this one

12 oz can pours amber with a small, diminishing white head. Very malt-forward nose. Biscuit, bread, a small hint of DMS. Flavor is more of the same. Quite nice and clean finish. Enjoyed it.

Deep copper in color. Light, but attractive hop aroma. Medium to full bodied--attractive on the tongue. Flavor is caramelly sweet, but nicely balanced. Well done.

Best Before October 2005 bottle from Liquor Mart. Consumed on 11/30/05.
Rusty copper colored beer, lightly hazy with just a trace of yeast settling out on the bottom. Some brighter strawberry red hues and an off-white head with fair retention and lacing, eventually receding to cover. In the nose is a lightly sour note, perhaps munich grains, and a hint of dry fruits (unripened berries, unripened nectarines). Dry, husky malts on the end. Smells just a touch metallic at first, but this passes. The flavor has plenty of medium-dry caramel, soily, lightly bitter hops and dry breadiness lingering. Moderately crisp yeast on the finish as well. Carbonation is moderate, pretty average for the style, while it has a lightly watery texture, though it’s not thin by any means. Surprised to find this is 6% abv, as it masks that very well and comes off as a very low gravity, albeit well-malted, session lager. Very even maltiness, not the most complex, but does provide bread, fruits, biscuits and light hops.

six pack bottle. murky tan body with a nice thick head. cotton candy like aroma. i had the first of the 6 after i drank an optimator, and i thought damn that optimator makes everything taste sweet after you drink it, so i didn’t take notes, but i was mistaken, this is a sweet beer too. malty plum fklavor , a bit of apple & diacetyl, but it works out alright. a bit drier on the finish but still has that apple note to it. the caramel taste here is great. a bit of oilyness on my tongue. i’ve gone through the whole 6 pack in the last week and i don’t regret the purchase.

On tap at the airport (JAC). Pours golden with a nice white head. Good lacing. Medium body. A bit of malt, but a nice bit of citrus/herbal hops flavor. Finished dry, with a bit of citrus taste. Drinkable, solid lager.

Copper colour with a thick tan head. Aroma is sweet caramel and toasted malt, baking bread tones. Flavour is nice smooth toasted malt, sweet caramel body, some fruitiness in the finish. A little bit of a sticky residue Very nice though.

Can pours clear amber with a thin tan head with good retetion. Not much nose, just a bit of bread and faint grass. Taste is slightly sweet malt, light bittering and grassy hops. A slight roast on the finish. Light thin body, I could see me pounding quite a few if I had more.
