A rich, well balanced Foreign style Stout with a generous amount of roasted barley. Complex hop sequencing creates superbly balanced flavor.

In short: A full bodied stout with a bit of everything. Good.
How: Bottle 12oz. Consumed approximately one month after receiving the bottle from Doodler, thanks a lot Scott
The look: Black body topped by a small tan head.
In long: Nose is burnt toasts and coffee with notes of cigarette butt. Body is smooth, semi-thick and a bit viscous with a soft carbonation. Taste brings up a lot of unsuspected black liquorice, vanilla extract, cookies, burnt toasts, coffee, some molasses, oat sensation, solid presence of herbal hops with a minty character. The flavors are a bit aggressive however the beer remains easy to drink. Quite filling for a ‘little’ stout. Nothing won me over here but I can’t find anything wrong with it, this is a good flavorful stout. That’s the description I can give for this beer, and I’m really trying my best when I rate a beer because if there are two things I that I’m really ashamed of it is when one of my beer rating uses a bad grammaration or a word I just made up.

From a can into a pint glass. The pour is a dark brown with light brown tint head. There’s a lot of chocolate notes with a medium to full body and a thick texture. I like it.

A nice stout overall. Pours a deep thick black with a thick tan head. Smells of cinnamon, vanilla and coffee. Taste is similar, lots of cinnamon, some vanilla throughout, and some slightly butter coffee in the finish. Had in the bottle.

Black body, big brown head. aroma has lots of molasses and roasted candy. Some tar. Flavour is nicely balanced and adds little acidic roastiness. Really nice and straightforward with good balance.

Solid stout. For the ABV level, it perhaps may be hard to do better. All the notes you love and expect are present.

Refrigerated 12 oz. can, compliments of queenholly, poured into an English pint glass. Black with medium light brown head. Aroma is dark chocolate, medium body, medium carbonation, and good big-bubble lacing. Taste is strong roasted malt, coffee, some balancing grassy hops, and dry finish. Too dry for me, but queenholly with another state tick.

355 ml can (6.0% abv). @ Thanks rosenbergh!
Pours black color with a reddish tint and a small beige head. Aroma has some burnt, almost charred sausage, hops, dark cocoa notes, ash, faint coffee too. Very dry palate. Good.
