3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
In short: A full bodied stout with a bit of everything. Good.
How: Bottle 12oz. Consumed approximately one month after receiving the bottle from Doodler, thanks a lot Scott
The look: Black body topped by a small tan head.
In long: Nose is burnt toasts and coffee with notes of cigarette butt. Body is smooth, semi-thick and a bit viscous with a soft carbonation. Taste brings up a lot of unsuspected black liquorice, vanilla extract, cookies, burnt toasts, coffee, some molasses, oat sensation, solid presence of herbal hops with a minty character. The flavors are a bit aggressive however the beer remains easy to drink. Quite filling for a Ďlittleí stout. Nothing won me over here but I canít find anything wrong with it, this is a good flavorful stout. Thatís the description I can give for this beer, and Iím really trying my best when I rate a beer because if there are two things I that Iím really ashamed of it is when one of my beer rating uses a bad grammaration or a word I just made up.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Probably the best beer in their standard lineup. Zonker is a nice easy drinking stout. Pours a dark brown/black with a good brown head. Very roasty on the nose. Milder flavor profile than the nose would suggest. Medium-Full bodied with a well balanced malt-alcohol level. Not over the top and very good.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Black with a dark head that dissipates. Coffee, toasty barley, molasses aroma. I like drinking stouts carbonated with CO2. Tasty sweet, roasted malt. Slightly bitter. Burnt barley, bitter finish. Snake River beers put me right back in Jackson, always a good thing in my book.
