Nov 24, 2007 Tap @ brewery in October 2007. A dark golden amber color with a white head. A wonderfully strong roasted malt aroma. It smells so fresh and tasty, not unlike a homebrew.

Feb 10, 2006 Another strange one from the Sydney RateBeer Xmas gathering. Cloudy orange with not much of a head. As noted previously, some savoury sauce somehow finds it’s way into the aroma, along with a dodgy chardonnay. However, this doesn’t stop it from having a rather bland flavour. Somewhat lasting finish, but I don’t know if that’s preferable!

Jan 23, 2006 Bright orange colour, slighlty hazey. began with burt sugar but as warmed up became more hoppy. Big hoppy taste but dry finish.

Jan 6, 2006 I really liked the aroma of this beer, tomatoes, worcestershire sauce, onion, brown sugar, a really funky mix of aromas to find in a beer. Unfortunately these characters didn’t translate to the taste, which was an underwhelming soft lagerish palate with just a hint of that saucy aroma. Interesting and surprisingly drinkable.
