Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA May 2, 2006 Gold color with a creamy head and sticky, string lacing. Banana and coriander in the nose. Sweet caramel malts and hints of bubblegum. Lots of sweet caramel in the flavor with some coriander and bubblegum. Too chewy and sweet. Not balanced well.
DA (2300), Portland, Oregon City, Oregon, USA Aug 27, 2005 Sampled at the Portland International Beer Fest 2005. Orange body, very clear, with a smooth white head. Lots of citrus spice, probably orange peel and corriander. Fruity malts up front with a very estery yeast strain in the finish. BeerLimey (1875), California, USA Aug 19, 2005 Slightly hazed, yellowy golden appearance. Malty, fruity aroma. Sweet malty palate, mildly grainy, some spice but not significant. 5000 (2400), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA Jul 11, 2005 Draught @ Brouwer’s Cafe: Golden, orange hues, moderate white head, mild carbonation, fairly attractive lacing.   Fruity aroma, quite yeasty, and it appears to be fairly sweet.   Definitely sweet on the tongue, a bit of heat is noticable.   Pale fruit, leaning towards the citrus side, and doughy.   Moderate body and mouthfeel, seems to thicken up a tad as it warms.   Finishes sweet, somewhat sticky.   Not terribley belgianesque, but still fairly tasty.   Glad I had the chance to try it as I heard (from mattbob) that it will no longer be brewed.
BückDich (4503), Boise, Idaho, USA May 9, 2005 Sampled draught at Snipes Mountain Brewpub in Sunnywide, WA Pale gold, no head, no lacing. Moderate carbonation with a bright green belgian yeast & clove smell. The flavor is sweet and tart with some tangy hops but unbalanced and not so tasty.
