Taste is sweet medium malt, slight sharpness-raisin/molasses, nutty, secondary citrus hops, a bit syrupy. after4ever (1710), Brier, Washington, USA Sep 16, 2007 Draft at Flyer’s. Crystal clear rubied dark amber. Thin grayish film of a head. Neutral nose. Medium body, firm carb. Bold roasty burning leaf notes. Molasses and graham crackers. Acrid resiny finish. drismyhero (815), Tacoma, Washington, USA Mar 6, 2005 Intensely hoppy here, I think these are simcoe hops, but I’m not sure. The malt from the "red" portion of the beer is minimal, buried underneath gobs of hops. Even for a bitter beer, the palate here seemed thtin, although the aroma was a grass and lemon explosion. Cuttingly citrusy, this beer is not for the weak hearted.
