riversideAK (1468), Shoreline, Washington, USA Oct 3, 2007 Orange gold color. Funky hop aroma. Super floral w some herbal pot flavor. Light in body with nice bitterness. drismyhero (815), Tacoma, Washington, USA Oct 25, 2004 My favorite aspect of a harvest ale is the graininess that gives images of a fresh harvest - seems reasonable. It may be in part due to my Eastern Washington upbringing (land of wheat and barley). This was a tasty beer, but frighteningly sparse in respect to this Harvest Ale necessity as I see it. Fresh hops dominate, and although I respect the mentality that a harvest of hops is just as important as a grain harvest, I wish the malt was a touch stronger. TimE (1013), Tokyo, Japan Jan 12, 2004 Starts off with a hoppy nose of cascade hops. In the body, malt starts to come into play and then a played out dry grainy malty finish. Waaaayyy too hoppy for the style. Crit (2221), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada Oct 26, 2003 Hazy light amber, lasting beige head.Great citrus nose. Musty citrus hop flavor. Rather thin
