3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Courtesy of Styles. Malty aroma of molasses, toffee, and slight hints of banana bread. Pours a somewhat transparent orangish-red with a nice off-white head that lasts a minute or so. Molasses, toffee, caramel, and real light hints of banana bread. Finishes with a moderate citrus hop finish. Well balanced, but flavors aren’t as big and bold as I expect in a barley wine.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
thanks Styles. Pours a ruby brown with a little haze. wih little to no head and not much lacing Aroma was quite boring with the usual and a faint barley earthy smell. Flavor is mild citrus, hops carmel and soy. Quite basic for a barley wine

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a deep copper ruby with a nicely-lacing light tan head. Has an artificial almost medicinal candy-hop aroma with some caramel malty character and grapes. Body displays semi-sweet caramel and earthy pine flavor toward a crisp finish. I don’t know if it’s the particular hop used, but the aroma really put me off. Thanks to MrFacto for sharing.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Lightly hazed copper color with a hint of rudy. Small lid of beige bubbles. Sweet heavy malt with hints of cherry liqueur, brandy, caramel and hint of hops. Nutty malt flavors mix with earthy hops and dark toffee. Spicy and nearly hot in the finish. Straightforward strong barleywine. Thanks Matt.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
At Bootopia, thanks to whomever brought this. Aroma was sweet malt and caramel. Poure was a copper color with a tan head. Flavor was same as nose with some hops in background. Palate was okay but the finish really left you with a cardboardy type taste. Overall not bad.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Translucent cherry copper in color with dusty tan streaks and a wrung around the edges to serve as the head. Ripe cherry juice in the aroma, with traces of figs, bing cherries, Manhattans and caramel drenched cranberries. Some bitter cleanliness in the flavor, dancing where the backend of the tongue hits the roof of the mouth. Looking past the jovial tendencies (harsh hopping profile), we’re dealing with moderate malt sweetening to concoct a dark fruit combination of cranberries, prunes and black cherries. Thanks for sharing, MrFacto!

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Appealing ruby body beneath a nice beige head gives off notes of sweet caramel malts, citrusy hops, sweet berries, butter brickle, and cherries jubilee. Light carbonation with a medium body. The flavor was sweet with hints of alcohol and fruit.

22oz. Bottle at Bootopia. Hazy light brown color with a small beige head.
Sweet malty aroma with some brown sugar, hops and a bit of cardboard. Flavor wasn’t as sweet as the aroma led me to believe. Malty, with caramel and some hop bitterness on the finish.
