Lightly hazed copper color with a hint of rudy. Small lid of beige bubbles. Sweet heavy malt with hints of cherry liqueur, brandy, caramel and hint of hops. Nutty malt flavors mix with earthy hops and dark toffee. Spicy and nearly hot in the finish. Straightforward strong barleywine. Thanks Matt.

At Bootopia, thanks to whomever brought this. Aroma was sweet malt and caramel. Poure was a copper color with a tan head. Flavor was same as nose with some hops in background. Palate was okay but the finish really left you with a cardboardy type taste. Overall not bad.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Translucent cherry copper in color with dusty tan streaks and a wrung around the edges to serve as the head. Ripe cherry juice in the aroma, with traces of figs, bing cherries, Manhattans and caramel drenched cranberries. Some bitter cleanliness in the flavor, dancing where the backend of the tongue hits the roof of the mouth. Looking past the jovial tendencies (harsh hopping profile), we’re dealing with moderate malt sweetening to concoct a dark fruit combination of cranberries, prunes and black cherries. Thanks for sharing, MrFacto!

Appealing ruby body beneath a nice beige head gives off notes of sweet caramel malts, citrusy hops, sweet berries, butter brickle, and cherries jubilee. Light carbonation with a medium body. The flavor was sweet with hints of alcohol and fruit.

22oz. Bottle at Bootopia. Hazy light brown color with a small beige head.
Sweet malty aroma with some brown sugar, hops and a bit of cardboard. Flavor wasn’t as sweet as the aroma led me to believe. Malty, with caramel and some hop bitterness on the finish.

Not sure who shared this at Paul’s party, but thanks.
Poured a cloudy brown with an off-white head. Nose is predominantly caramel, almost unpleasantly sweet. Taste is caramel, vanilla, and alcohol with a dry finish. Was looking for more vinous notes, but couldn’t find any. Needed to be more complex.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cloudy brown w/ a creamy finger of light brown foam. Aroma is hoppy (citrus) & malty (caramel, chocolate, butterscotch) w/ some notes of cotton candy & cherry Sweet Tarts. Medium, somewhat resiny feel--perhaps a little too much carbonation. Flavour is big & hoppy, but not quite malty enough to support. Finish is relatively bitter but also somewhat dry & yeasty.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Orange rind, flowers, earth and charred wood in an aroma that evokes a campfire that was extinguished with earth and water the night before. Something beyond tart but not quite sour lurks as an undertone. Clear, dark, mahogany brown with light off-white ring of fully-diminishing head. Burnt roasty malts with moderate bitterness and some fair sweetness. Medium body with moderate carbonation is somewhat simple in the mouth. Bottle sampled with CapFlu, Goldorak, Joey_Capps, Olivier_MTL, Lubiere and MartinT.
