Aged in Hungarian oak for about four months and fermented on oak staves. This imperial brown ale version of the award-winning brown (no sparging) imparts a distinct creaminess, a warming alcohol glow, and a bright hop presence from one big bag addition.

On tap at Brouwer’s back in January. Red brown with foamy tan head. Slight funk in the aroma along with citrus hop and brown sugar. Interesting taste. moves between malt and hops with a bitter gf finish, some chocolate and coffee in between.
