Nitro draft at Athenian. Roasted coffee, black malt, and burnt roasted barley flavors. Clean, crisp, and pronounced bitterness. Body is full throughout. Big creamy tan head lasted very long. Very dark brown color. Finish has a malty brown sugar sweetness that compliments the roasty bitter flavors, but leaves a bit too much spicy, honey, and sugary sweetness lingering. Overall very Sessionable and enjoyable stout.

Dark nitro draft pour. Thick creamy head. Chocolate flavor mostly. Too sweet for me, but good overall.

On nitro. Classic appearance. Subtle chocolate and coffee aroma. Body is a little thin. Creamy and slightly sweet. Chocolate. Not very robust but highly drinkable nonetheless.

Nitro at the source. Very dark brown color, solid beige head. Aroma of coffee grounds. Taste is bitter coffee, light cocoa. Nice.

Draught, Nitro. Pours a very black color with a moderate tan head on it. Nose is quite roasty and inviting, like good stouts are. Taste is also very roasty and slightly bitter with just a hint of coffee in there. Feels extremely smooth and an easy drink.

Nitro draft at brewery. Dark brown/ near black, creamy khaki head. Roasty chocolate aroma. Creamy mouthfeel with soft carb. Dry. Smooth subtle sweetness underneath the light bitter roastiness. This is a darned good stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JAN 4, 2013 Serving: from (nitro) tap at Schultzys Sausage. Aroma: moderately grainy with light hints of chocolate and coffee. Appearance: average-sized, creamy, off-white, initial head with mostly lasting longevity and excellent lacing. Dark brown-hued body. Taste: acetic initial taste with lightly bitter finish and long duration. Palate: medium to full-bodied with creamy texture and soft carbonation. Overall: Excellent.

On tap at Old Town Ale House, pours black with a creamy tan head. Aroma of roasted malt and loads of chocolate. Flavour brings out monolithic chocolate notes, with some moderate roasted notes. Full-bodied and creamy, no doubt aided due to the nitro pour. Excellent stuff.

On nitro at Parkway in Tacoma: Rich eggshell head on onyx body with great teak cascade; aroma of anise and coffee; rich, sweet taste of chocolate and toasted hazelnuts. Went great with burger and chips while watching baseball. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On Nitro at the brewery. Pours a dark dark deep black with creamy and dense head. Aroma of de-bittered coffee, limestone, and a slight fruitiness. Malted milkshake like flavors, good roasty backbone that is well balanced by the creamy mouthfeel. Slightly sweet, this stout shows evidence of an alkali chemistry. Medium body. In a world of so many imperial stouts and strong American stouts, its nice to see a robust stout without the acrid or overly roasted flavors.
