ditmier (1015), Boise, Idaho, USA Oct 7, 2009 2009 Bottle - Pours cloudy orange with a medium lt beige head...aroma is hop forward, citrusy and resiny, with some hop florals as well, malty but not sweet...flavour is similar, would have guessed this as an IPA with the hop abundance, dry caramel to balance...pretty good stuff, I’d drink again for sure... dwyerpg (2519), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Oct 3, 2009 A light hop aroma. Flavor is somewhat sweet, a little hoppy. The finish is considerably sweeter. I like it. Unimposing but good. trevor211 (499), Seattle, Washington, USA Sep 21, 2009 Pours a nice deep orange, with a dense head. Bittersweet, with great northwest hops countering lots of caramel malts. Dry finish, full mouthfeel... there’s nothing at all outstanding here, but this is an instant classic. Good stuff all around. KUEric (632), Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA Sep 4, 2009 A nw beer here, hops galore and good times all around. Some sweetness up front with bitter on the tounge in the aftertaste like a beer should be. LooseCannon (914), Norfolk, Virginia, USA Sep 4, 2009 Draft, Pours clear amber in color with white head. Aroma sweet malt and floral hops. Taste sweet malt and citrus hops with bitter finish. scrizzz (1246), kirkland, Washington, USA Jun 22, 2009 Nearly completely clear bright gold, tall very creamy head, full lacing. Lively fruity esters over crystal malt. Dry crackermeal and a light floral hop kick in the finish. Dry throughout in fact. The spicy hops build in intensity as I drink it. hayduke (1616), Eureka, California, USA Apr 15, 2009 Color is gold with a lot of haze, white head, and good lacing. Nose of caramel malts and floral hops. Medium mouthfeel but very smooth. Flavor is strongly dominated by hops which are citrus this time. Finish is dry and lightly bitter. A very good and highly drinkable APA.
