Commercial Description:
Incredibly well balanced, Snoqualmie Falls Copperhead Pale Ale first grabs your attention the great aroma of Washington Centennial hops, followed quickly by toasty malt flavor from generous amounts of imported light crystal malt, finally giving way to a clean, bright hop flavor. Deep gold in color, medium bodied and exceptionally clean, this American style pale ale is destined become a new Northwest favorite!

22 oz. bottle - pours clear gold with big white head; second pint had a slight suspended haze; crisp hops are the only noticeable aroma that are generally mild; drinks with a clean and crisp hopness; slightly bitter finish and an overall decent pale ale

"Copperhead" pours milky orange-yellow with a minimal dissapating head with a slight citrus aroma from a 22 oz bottle. I agree with the commerical description, the body is quite clean. A bit more of bitter finish than I enjoy but I’m sure the hop heads love it. Good beer from funny named place.

Yellowish orange, thin white head - I was fully expecting something called "copperhead" to be, y’know, .copper. Mellow toasty piney aroma. Very peppery at first, with some rye notes. Finishes with big hop flavors.

22 oz. bottle pours a dark amber color with a slight head that fades quickly. Smell is grainy, yeasty with floral hops. Medium bodied with a clean, crisp mouthfeel. Nicely balanced taste is malty, grainy with a fresh hop flavor . Finishes with a fresh, perfumy hop taste on the palate. Nov 2003

Draft at Taphouse Grill in downtown Seattle. Pours golden with a nice retentive white head. Aroma pale malts, spicy hops honey, and sweet bread. Body is on the lighter side of medium, with a crisp and lively texture. Flavor is wonderfully balanced between citrus, biscuit, pilsner malts, spicy hops. This has just the right amount of residual sweetness. What is unique about this beer is that the malt profile is more like a european lager, but with some american style bitterness thrown in. Clean and moderate bitter finish. Well done.

Bottle: Gold bronze color, light white head, nice lacing. Nose of spicy light hops and sweet earthy malts. The flavor is nice and pleasantly hopped, light body or malt intensity. Citrusy though. The finish is balanced, nice beer, tasty throughout.

Draft at the brewery on 7/13/07. Pours a beautiful clear deep gold with a durable white head that leaves good lace. Piney hops and dark toffee aroma. Medium body and a very clean mouthfeel. Well balanced flavors of caramel and bitter citrus peel. A decent APA.
